Haiku

A Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that follow specific rules.  One rule is the poem must be three lines long.  Another rule is to have 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line, and 5 syllables in the third line.  To read more about the Haiku form of poetry, check out Wikipedia or this page of Haiku examples from the UCLA Asian Institute.
