Welcome to Laser Last Week where we explore some of the new information being published around the web dealing with laser engraving and assorted services. I try to focus on the unique and remarkable, not the mass produced commodity. Last week was a little slim. I could always fill the list with junk, but I only want to share the best information with you. If you have found any that I have missed, please let me know in the comments. Enjoy.
(NOTE: The date I’ve indicated may not be the exact date the page was published but it is the date that I was made aware of it)
Laser Last Week – January 15 to January 21, 2012
Sunday, January 15, 2012 – Brazos Walking Sticks – They are one of only a handful of manufacturers of American-made handcrafted walking. If you are looking for a great walking stick, check them out. Want to personalize your new walking stick? They offer laser engraving.
Thursday, January 19, 2012 – Police issue warning and advise 4×4 motorists – Police in Sheffield (UK) are suggesting 4×4 motorists be sure and secure their vehicles due to a recent increase in Land Rover thefts. The vehicles are stripped of their parts and sold. The police suggest marking some other parts on your vehicle in a variety of ways, including laser engraving.
Friday, January 20, 2012 – WASD Keyboards – I was made aware of this company a month or so ago and again on Friday through a forum. Really interesting laser engraved custom computer keyboards.
Friday, January 20, 2012 – Laser engraved rifle from SureShot Precision Marking – A great example of the customization possible with a laser engraver on an AR-15 rifle.
