- 7-16-12 - The Desktop Ballista: Shoot toothpicks into the ancient past – Kickstarter – Have you ever wanted a siege weapon? Yea, me too. Well, now is your chance. Here is a desktop Ballista (similar to a bow and arrow) that is laser engraved and cut, ready for all your desktop siege needs. They were seeking $1,600 in funding and attracted over $24,000. Kerwin Lumpkins created this great little weapon. Check him out over at Legion-10.com.
- 7-15-12 - Berlin artist brings laser etching to Chamber – Bayside Gazette – Great article about a local Maryland guy that started a laser engraving business. He merges laser engraving with numerous other techniques to create art. Very interesting.
