Welcome to Laser Last Week where we explore some of the new information being published around the web dealing with laser engraving and assorted services. The focus is on the unique and remarkable, not the mass produced commodity. This week there was only 2 link that were interesting enough to make the list. If you have found any that I have missed, please let me know in the comments. Enjoy.
Laser Last Week Links
- 8-18-12 – Laser etching denim – YouTube – Here’s a video showing some denim being laser engraved. The design appears to be a Fireman’s Maltese Cross. If you can get over the video being recorded on a phone resulting in the video being sideways, it is interesting to watch. One more material to add to the list to experiment with.
- 8-14-12 – How to Use Laser Cuts in Print Design Q&A – Paper Specs – If you are looking for ways to add a little something to your print items, consider how adding laser cuts can make them that much better. This post covers a few questions and answers from the webinar and if you haven’t seen it, check it out.
I hope you learned something about laser engraving today and how it can be used. What was your favorite link? Leave a comment and let me know.
